SSC CHSL Selection Process 2025
Based on the combined performance in Section-I and Section-II of the Tier-II Examination, candidates will be shortlisted for the evaluation of Section-III in the same tier. Candidates who do not qualify in Section-I and Section-II combined will not proceed to the evaluation of Section-III.
Section-III of Tier-II is qualifying in nature, comprising two modules: the Computer Knowledge Test and the Skill Test/Typing Test. Both modules are qualifying requirements. For Data Entry Operator (DEO) posts, the Skill Test is mandatory for all candidates who qualify. Similarly, the Typing Test is compulsory for candidates applying for positions other than DEOs.
Candidates will provide their preferences for various posts and departments through the Online Option Form available on the Commission’s website before the final results are declared. The final selection of candidates for each category will be based on their overall performance in the Tier-II Examination and the preferences indicated.
