Bihar STET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Paper I (Classes 9-10):
  • Hindi/Urdu/Sanskrit/English: Bachelor’s degree in the respective subject with B.Ed.
  • Mathematics: Bachelor’s in Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry with B.Ed, or B.Tech with Mathematics and B.Ed.
  • Science: Bachelor’s in Botany/Zoology/Chemistry with B.Ed, or B.Tech with Science and B.Ed.
  • Social Science: Graduation with any two of History, Geography, Economics, or Political Science (History or Geography mandatory) and B.Ed.
• Paper II (Classes 11-12):
  • English/Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry/Zoology/Botany: Master’s degree in the subject with B.Ed.
  • Commerce: Master’s in Business Studies/Accountancy/Entrepreneurship with B.Ed.
  • Computer Science: A level from DOEACC with Post Graduate Degree, or BE/B.Tech (CS/IT), or M.Sc./MCA in Computer Science, or equivalent.

Age Limit

• Minimum: 21 years as of 1 August 2025.
• Maximum: 37 years for General (Male), 40 years for General (Female)/OBC (Male/Female), 42 years for SC/ST (Male/Female).

How to Apply For Bihar STET 2025 Application Form

Applying for Bihar STET 2025 is straightforward and done online through the BSEB portal. Follow these steps:

• Step 1: Visit the official website and click on the STET 2025 registration link.
• Step 2: Register by providing basic details like name, email, and mobile number. You’ll receive login credentials.
• Step 3: Log in, fill out the application form with personal, educational, and subject details.
• Step 4: Upload required documents, including a recent passport-size photo (JPEG, 20-50 KB), signature (JPEG, 10-20 KB), and any other certificates as specified.
• Step 5: Pay the application fee online using debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI. Fees are Rs. 960 (Paper I) or Rs. 1440 (Paper II) for General/OBC, and Rs. 760 (Paper I) or Rs. 1140 (Paper II) for SC/ST/PwD.
