Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must satisfy the following conditions to appear for Assam CEE 2026:
- Nationality & Domicile: Must be an Indian citizen and permanent resident of Assam.
- Educational Qualification: Passed or appearing in the 10+2 (Higher Secondary) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects. General category candidates need a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying exam.
- Age Limit: Candidates should be at least 17 years old as on 1 August 2026. The upper age limit is generally 21 years (relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per government norms). Candidates are advised to refer to the official notification for exact age relaxation details.

How to Apply For Assam CEE 2026
The entire application for Assam CEE 2026 is online. Follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Visit the official ASTU website at astu.ac.in or the direct application portal (astu.formsrec.in).
Step 2: Click on the “CEE 2026 Online Application” or registration link.
Step 3: Register by providing basic details such as name, mobile number, email ID, and create a password.
Step 4: Fill the application form carefully with personal, educational, and contact information. Choose preferred exam centres.
Step 5: Upload scanned copies of passport-sized photograph, signature, and other required documents in the prescribed format and size.
Step 6: Pay the application fee of ₹1,500 (increased this year) online through net banking, credit/debit card, or other available modes.
Step 7: Review all details, submit the form, and download/print the confirmation page for future reference.
