State Eligibility Test 2025
The State Level Eligibility Test Commission, Assam, has officially released the notification for the State Eligibility Test (SET) 2025. If you want to become an Assistant Professor then you will have to qualify this exam. Its online application has started from 1st December, 2024. If you are an eligible candidate then you can apply online for this form.

SET Eligibility Criteria 2025
Education Qualification:
Candidates belonging to the General/Unreserved or General-EWS categories must have achieved a minimum of 55% marks (without rounding off) in their Master’s degree or an equivalent qualification from a UGC-recognized university or institute to be eligible for this examination. For candidates from SC/ST/PwD/OBC-NCL categories, a minimum of 50% marks (without rounding off) in the qualifying Master’s degree or equivalent is required to apply.
Age Limit: There is no maximum age requirement to qualify for applying as an Assistant Professor.

Follow the steps given below to fill up the state eligibility test 2025 form,

Step 2: Click on Apply Now.
Step 3: Enter your Name, Email ID, Phone Numbe and set Password or click on Sign up.
Step 4: Enter OTP verify Email and Phone number.
Step 5: Click on Apply.
Step 6: Enter Email ID and Password or click Login.
Step 7: Enter Personal Detail.
Step 8: Enter Education Qualification details and select Exam Canter and Subject.
Step 9: Now Upload your Documents and click on Continue to Payment.
Steo 10: Pay your Application Fee.
Your Form has been submitted successfully. You can download/print a copy from this for your future reference.

State Eligibility Test Exam Date 2025
The State Eligibility Test (SET) 2025 is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 23rd March 2025, across two sessions. Candidates are required to attend both sessions as per the schedule below:

Paper I focuses on general topics and is designed to evaluate candidates’ teaching and research aptitude. It will test reasoning ability, comprehension skills, divergent thinking, and general awareness.
Paper II comprises 100 subject-specific objective-type questions, with each question carrying 2 marks.
